Timothy O'Hara is a 6-foot, 200-pound middle linebacker from
Rancho Bernardo High School. He was first-team All-Palomar League
his senior year as well as first-team All-North County. He made
first-team on the San Diego Union-Tribune's All-Academic Team
while being elected his team's Most Valuable Defensive Player
as a senior. He was captain of the football team his freshman,
sophomore, and senior years, and received the school's Scholar-Athlete
Award his junior and senior years. O'Hara received three letters
in varsity football. His coach, Ron Hamamoto, describes him as
an exceptional young man who contributes a great deal to his community,
as well as to his school.
On campus, he was active in peer counseling, and the Human Relations
Conference. He received straight A's for seven semesters in a
row and was awarded seven Silver Star Awards. He lists his hobbies
as snowboarding and basketball. With a 4.07 grade point average,
he plans to major in political science or business. He is the
son of Thomas and Janice O'Hara of San Diego.
