Defensive Tackle, Tight End

Jeff Crusey is a 6-foot-4, 255-pound defensive tackle and tight end from Francis Parker High School. As an all-round athlete, he was first-team All-CIF in 1999 and 2000, and was first-team All-Coastal League those same years. As a senior, he was cocaptain of his football team, and Coastal League Defensive Player of the Year. He was a member of the San Diego Union-Tribune All-Academic Team in 1998, 1999 and 2000. He was voted his team's most valuable player in football and wrestling in 2000. Crusey received three letters in varsity football, four in wrestling and two in track and field.
With a 4.24 grade point average, he was on his school's Honor Roll in 1999, and listed in Honors with Distinction in 2000. He was a member of the National Honors Society and the California Scholarship Federation. Crusey has contributed to organizations such as the Southern Club Caregiver's Resource Center and other projects concerning the homeless. He intends to major in finance at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Crusey lists his hobbies as surfing, drawing and graphic design. He is the son of Steve and Jill Crusey of San Diego.
